Richie Roberts, a tough guy with strong dignity. Seorang detektif bagian narkotik kepolisian New Jersey yang sedang berjuang memperebutkan hak asuh anaknya. Film American Gangster arahan Ridley Scott dibangun oleh 2 karakter ini, sama-sama tough, sama-sama berprinsip but come from sisi hukum yang berseberangan.

Denzel Washington is as solid as rock seperti biasanya, Russell Crowe pun setali tiga uang, dengan tangan dingin Ridley Scott di kursi sutradara well I think we have one of the greatest ensemble in movie history. It’s way better than Oscar Winning Rip Off From The Hong Kong Box Office Movie “The Departed”. Beda tipis lah dengan Godfather dan Scarface, but I believe in the future this one can be a classic. 4 stars in my opinion.
